Fortress Technologies Appoints Six New Sales, Business Development Executives

Company Commits to Aggressively Leverage Market Success, Remains Leader in Tactical, Deployable Secure Wireless Systems

LANSDOWNE, Va. –Oct. 14, 2008 – Fortress Technologies, a leading provider of secure wireless solutions, today announced it has expanded its public sector operation with the appointment of six sales and business development executives. These appointments will enable Fortress to work more closely with government program offices as well as its strategic partner base.

Joining the Fortress team are Dennis McLain as Vice President of Business Development; Tony Celia and Tony Vargas, Directors of Business Development; Robert Otto as Senior Product Manager; as well as Bill Ruvo and Paul Cordaro, Sales Directors.

McLain joins Fortress from Sun Microsystems and brings an extensive executive background in business development, marketing, and strategic technology planning/implementation within the public sector. Celia comes to Fortress from NetMotion Wireless, where he provided business development and systems engineering support for the company’s federal partners, customers, and prospects. Vargas previously served as Director, Business Development at ATT Mobility. Otto served as Director, Product Marketing and Pricing at GN Netcom, responsible for full lifecycle management of a $250M product portfolio.
On the sales side, Ruvo joins Fortress from NetScout Systems, where he was responsible for driving product sales in the federal market. Cordaro comes from Watchfire Inc., similarly responsible for government sales and product consultation nationally.
